The Cameron-Arnold laboratory is searching for postdoctoral researchers. Our laboratory has established, NIH-funded programs in RNA-dependent RNA polymerase enzymology, picornavirus genome replication, and a new program in coronavirus genome replication.
These programs use a blend of state-of-the-art approaches in enzymology, biochemistry, biophysics, cell biology, and virology. The overarching goal of all of these programs is discovery of fundamental knowledge enabling development of therapeutics and elucidation of mechanisms of drug action and resistance.
The positions are currently funded for two years. Responsibilities include development of a research program under the umbrella of interests represented in the laboratory and collaborating with graduate and postdoctoral trainees in the lab, as well as our scientific research staff. Selected postdoctoral researchers can use a large portion of the portfolio of research accomplishments created under our guidance as the foundation for their own independent research careers.
